Docket days

Set by the county's administrative plan, effective 1 January 2026. Local scheduling, which the plan notes can vary for judicial conferences and holidays.

• Monday — no scheduled court.
• Tuesday — criminal and traffic arraignments, 8:30 a.m. city and county docket, and a 1:30 p.m. city and county docket with an Administrative Office of the Courts interpreter.
• 1st Wednesday — city trials, criminal and traffic, from 8:30 a.m. Docket times vary with caseload.
• 2nd Wednesday — interpreter day, criminal and traffic. First docket 8:00 a.m., last 3:15 p.m. Bond show cause hearings at 2:30 p.m.
• 3rd Wednesday — civil docket, 9:00 a.m.
• 4th Wednesday — city trial day for defendants represented by the Public Defender, from 8:30 a.m.
• 1st Thursday — county plea day, criminal and traffic. 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. dockets for people without a lawyer; 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. for those with one.
• 2nd Thursday — city plea day for people without a lawyer, criminal and traffic, 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
• 3rd Thursday, even-numbered months — county trials, criminal and traffic, from 8:30 a.m.
• 4th Thursday — small claims, 9:00 a.m.
• 2nd Friday — city plea day for represented defendants, criminal and traffic, 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. No court is scheduled on the 1st, 3rd or 4th Friday.
